I had a blast working with the boys' and girls' basketball teams at the Faison Wellness and Rec Center! I want to thank the parents for supporting my photography business over the years! I have been photographing these teams and players since 2013! This year I created a template in Photoshop using a repeating line tool to make the floor look it had vertical lines and blended it with a black textured background. It takes time to get this look in Photoshop, due to the fact that you have to cut out each individual player from the background that they were photographed on. I give each player a few choices about how they want to be photographed. If they have the ability, I let them chose between dribbling, shooting or just holding the ball. It can be difficult for some players to dribble and look at the camera, so I give them a test before I get behind the camera, to see if they can do that. When working with kids, I am patient and try to get them the look that they want. I even show the parents the shot on the back of the camera to make sure they are happy with the pose and expression.
