I recently worked with Amy Arthur, Doberman Pinscher breeder and trainer of dogs.
Amy Arthur - Doberman Pinscher Puppies
She contacted me for professional portraits for 10 of her purebred Doberman Pinscher dogs and puppies in order to help sell them. She told me that she wanted people to see that the Doberman Pinscher dogs she raises are people and kid friendly dogs. She brought her three young children to be in the portraits with the animals. It wasn't easy photographing 10 dogs in one night with three small children, but it was manageable. She also brought two interns along to assist with the photo session.
In addition to the indoor photo shoot, we also did some outdoor portraits with the dogs in order to get a variety of looks for the portraits.
Amy was great at educating me about these beautiful animals! I have to admit that I am not an animal expert by any means. I own three cats and before that, a pair of leopard geckos. I interacted with some of the puppies, helping her move them around the scene as necessary. I was never once worried about being around any of the animals. They were very people friendly and I could tell that they would make excellent pets in addition to being protection animals! I was able to capture the kind of images that Amy was looking for during the session.
Amy sold one of the dogs just a few short days after receiving the digital portraits. She attributed the quick sell to the high quality images that I created for her. She was so pleased the images that she booked another session soon after that one for more of her dogs and puppies.
