I photographed Jackson on the campus of the University of Mount Olive two weeks ago! The weather was great and I scouted out a few locations before the session so that I could get the best images possible. There are several large campus signs and we started our session at one of the smaller ones. I had Jackson sit on the sign for a standard graduate type photo. I saw the sun peaking through the trees and got the idea to change the settings on my camera and lights so that the sun would have long beams and points. You can't get this type of look as a photographer if you don't know what you are doing. We then journeyed to another section of campus that had a brick seating area with great tall green bushes and foliage. This was a nice area because of the shade and seclusion from the rest of the campus. Next we went to the main sign on the campus of the University of Mount Olive! It is right by the highway where everyone can see it. Typically students stand right in front of the sign when I see them taking graduation photos but I like to be different and original if possible, so I took photos from varying distances and angles in order to get the best looks. There is a garden area on campus that offers many fantastic places to get great photos. We had some luck as the sun managed to pop out between some clouds for a great sunset! We finished up his session at the bell tower at the center of campus.
