A great way to remember your senior year in high school is to ask your photographer to make a collage or composite photo for you. Some of you may not know what a collage or composite photo is, so I will explain it. Normally when a person takes a picture with a camera, what you see is what you get. When a person makes a collage, they take several photographs and "cut the person out" in Photoshop and then blend them together. A collage would have multiple images of a person in the same photo and a composite photo would have one image of a person on a background. Think of it as digital scrap booking or even as slides on an overhead projector. When I'm photographing my clients in the studio, I have them do several different poses with the collage or composite in mind. I use a certain type of lighting that is also beneficial to the collage being believable. Collages or composites are great for any type of portraits such as children, family, lifestyle or sports. These type of photos are more expensive than regular photos because of the creativity, uniqueness and time involved in creating them. The first two pictures shown below are collages and the last two are composites.
