I was contacted by Luke Taylor about doing a wedding portrait in my studio recently. Luke told me that he would be wearing his Army blues uniform and that he was a double purple heart recipient. I have photographed veterans and taken military portraits before, but never a double purple heart recipient! Luke retired from the military with a chest full of honors and is one of the nicest guys you will ever meet! I really enjoyed hearing some of his stories of service to our country. I talked with him and his fiance Nina about what color background they wanted for the portrait session, and they decided on a blue background. I captured about a dozen images, but they ultimately decided to go with this one, as their wedding portrait. I of course thanked Luke for his service to our country and that God would bless their marriage.
