I recently worked with Dasmine Joyner who is a gospel singer here in Mount Olive, North Carolina. He needed portraits for an album cover and his website. Dasmine told me that he wanted just a simple black background for the image. A simple background helps your eye focus on the subject of a photograph. We did a quick half hour session in my studio here in Mount Olive, and I also had his photos edited within 24 hours.
