A few weeks ago, I worked with MacKenzie Andrews. She needed some graduation portraits, as she is graduating from North Duplin High School this May. She preferred outdoor portraits, so I took her to a great location—the University of Mount Olive campus. There were lush greens and blossoming flowers in the particular area I chose.
It is hard to have any kind of shape when wearing a graduation gown, so we did several poses with her draping it over her shoulder or with it open. There were some great structures for her to pose on or around on the campus. One of my favorites was a giant boulder for her to sit on, which has a scenic bridge in the background. We also found a wooden fence for her to lean against. MacKenzie did a great job posing and was easy to work with!
We finished up her session on a hill. I had MacKenzie throw her cap at the camera several times! One of the images I had to edit to make it look real and the other was done without any editing. Can you tell which is which?
