The Sisco family contacted me last week and wanted portraits for their family. I recommended that they be photographed at sunrise or sunset due to the extreme heat that comes with July. I suggested several locations for their portrait session and the family chose a Magnolia tree in a field here in Mount Olive, North Carolina. We started the photo session around 7:15 pm. Even though the sun was very low in the sky, it was still really hot and humid. I brought along plenty of water, towels and bug spray for the family members in case they needed anything. I was worried that the sun would never show up because of the cloud coverage, but it worked out for the best. I captured some fantastic sunset images for the family. The main family photo included an edited fall version, where I changed the color of the leaves and grass. One of the family members was not in the main photo and had to come back at a later time to be photographed. I then added her to the portrait in Photoshop. Can you tell which one?
